Strip District Mobility & Parking Management Plan in the Works
The City of Pittsburgh’s Department of Mobility and Infrastructure (DOMI) is working with consultants Stantec to develop a parking and mobility plan for the Strip District. A successful plan will provide district wide solutions to ease parking and congestion, improve safety and accessibility and make the Strip an even better place to work, visit, live and play.
Input from Strip District residents, workers, property owners, and stakeholders and our feedback will help the City make decisions to prioritize the public right-of-way to better accommodate safe, convenient, and affordable modes of travel.
On June 6th and 8th DOMI held two public workshops to receive feedback about current transportation issues, ideas for the future, and learn how about how people travel through the Strip.
If you missed out on the meetings, it‘s not too late to give your feedback! Check out the Wikimap on DOMI’s website to tell us how you get around the Strip and what the city can do to make it better!
